Influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Fred played in The Falcons, Johnson Street Heat, Forrest Park Blues Band and The Mystic Knights.

Frankie 9 1/2
a.k.a. Frank Swift
Guitar, vocals

Influenced by The Beach Boys, Sam and Dave, Mitch Ryder, Junior Walker, CSN&Y and Harry Chapin. Prior to the O.B.’s, Frank had played in bands for 15-years to include the USCG Training Center Band and co-founded "The Praise Band", Contemporary Christian recording artists.

Influenced by Moody Blues, Blood Sweat and Tears and the Rolling Stones Played in bands in the Lowell, MA area for a decade.

Influenced by many old time soul players with names like Butch, Jimmy K., Big Moe & Jimmy Gregory. Not household names, but fantastic players none the less. Played professionally in bands since the 60's, some of which included The Shirelles, Little Eva, Roger Pace and the Pacemakers and Dick Doherty and the Majority.

Influenced by Chicago, Eagles, Loggins & Messina and R&B music. Played drums and sang with The Dappers, the Port & Starbird Band, Colours and the On Line Band. Currently arranges vocals and sings in a Seacoast touring acapella Gospel group and enjoys being the newest Old Bastard.
